The quiet location and striking surroundings of our family-run guesthouse with beautiful, individual rooms and family suites make Gastehaus Schonanger a perfect place for you and your family to stay.

We want your stay at “Gaestehaus Schoenanger”  to remain a long and happy memory.

Our garden, with views of Zugspitze, offers a place to relax by the pond or on the sun terrace and for children to play.

To ensure that you are well cared for we have undertaken extensive renovations.  All our rooms are now named as follows, ‘Guardian Angel’, ‘Daisy’, ‘Dearest’, ‘Forest’, ‘Sunshine’ and ‘Pasture’.  We also have two family suites for 2-4 adults and 2 children that combine the luxury of a hotel room with the spaciousness of an apartment. 

All rooms have shower / WC / cable TV / clock radio and a balcony with views of either Zugspitze or other mountain views. 

We provide a fabulous breakfast buffet which is a healthy start to the day, and at the end of the day, if you so wish, you can make use of our sauna and solarium.

We are happy to store your bikes and ski’s in the ski room at our guesthouse, we can also help with any maintenance requirements you may have with your equipment.

There is parking spaces and garaging at the guesthouse.

Bus stops and walking trails can be found in the immediate vicinity.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen is approx 6 km.

Our water is purified by Grander Technology.

Our Sun Terrace

The sun terrace has stunning views of Zugspitze, it is the perfect place to sit on a comfortable chair and enjoy afternoon coffee or a long chat on a warm summers evening.

Sauna - Solarium

After a revitalising day in Grainau’s fresh air, our Sauna is the perfect place to relax.

To further enhance your holiday, on sun-less days why not top up your tan in our in-house solarium.

Vor  der "Alm im Tal" können sie ein Sonnenbad mit Blick auf die Zugspitze und das Waxensteinmassiv  genießen.
